Art and technology? Architecture and culture? These are not mutually exclusive. Artist Rosita Foellmer bridges the gap between architecture and technology as much as between art and culture. Rosita Foellmer‘s painting shows elements from the classical period to the contemporary as developed in the artist‘s imagination and expressed in her art. Her innovative spirit has turned buildings into works of art – on canvas and in reality.

Rosita Foellmer was born in Villingen-Schwenningen, Germany, in 1951. After living in various places including one stay abroad, she moved to Seelbach near Lahr in the Black Forest twenty years ago, and has lived there ever since. She loves to experiment with colours, materials and shapes in her studio; the resulting paintings are constantly reworked and reordered in a constant flow of evolution until striking a relative balance. Her preferred paints and techniques are acrylic, oil, gouache, water colour and combined techniques.
